Richard Appiah led the Cognitive Behavioral Intervention implementation team for the Escaping Poverty project. Earlier in 2015, Richard was a consultant for the pilot of the same project where he developed intervention modules, trained counselors and led the implementation. Prior to joining IPA, Richard was an associate lecturer at the College of Health Sciences of the University of Ghana. He also practiced as a clinical psychologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. Richard has a BSc. in Nursing and MPhil in Clinical Psychology degrees from the University of Ghana.
