Ramón Cota is a Research Associate for the project “Building Effective, Resilient and Trusted Police Organizations in Mexico.” He did case studies of municipal and state police corporations and is now doing a comparative qualitative analysis with an organizational focus. Prior to his collaboration with IPA, he worked as a consultant for the Miguel Agustín Pro Juárez Human Right Center, documenting cases of imprisoned women who were survivors of sexual torture. He holds a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
