Nalifa Mehelin works as an Associate Research Analyst for the bureaucratic autonomy project which aims to look at how autonomy in terms of decision-making capacity of mid-level bureaucrats, known as UNOs, can improve public service delivery and innovation in Bangladesh. She has previously worked with the USAID Agriculture Value Chains Project in Bangladesh which incorporated the market systems approach in order to improve the lives of the farmers. She graduated from the Asian University for Women with a BA in Economics.
