Myat is a Research Coordinator based in IPA's Myanmar country office. She is currently managing a portfolio of research projects. Previously, she worked at Centre for Economics and Social Development (CESD) in Myanmar, leading agricultural and rural livelihoods studies in close collaboration with Michigan State University (MSU) and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) for over three years. She holds a Master's degree in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Randolph-Macon College in the United States.
