Maya Verónica Márquez Román started with IPA as an intern in Rwanda and works now in Colombia. Her interests include analysis and expansion of social protection systems and benefit programs for the elederly, children and unemployed. Other topics of interest are migration, gender issues and health. After having studied Political Science, Maya went for an MS in Public Policy and Human Development, with a focus in Social Protection systems.
