Mauricio Perez Alaniz manages a portfolio of research projects and works with academics and local partners to develop new projects in Paraguay. He joined IPA in 2013 to work on the Project "Big Math Paraguay" which he still manages, working along with the Paraguayan Ministry of Education and the Inter-American Development Bank. Mauricio has previously held several consulting Jobs in the UK and Peru, and was first involved with IPA as an intern for the project "Targeting the Ultra poor Graduation Program" in Cuzco. He holds an Mres in International Development and a BSc in International Development and Natural Resource Management from the University of East Anglia.
