Maricha Friedman is the Research Coordinator for IPA's projects in the Dominican Republic. Prior to joining IPA in 2012, Maricha worked on urban development projects in Rio de Janeiro with the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy and in Caracas with the Municipality of Sucre as a Master's degree candidate. Before that she worked at the Organization of American States. She has an MA of Urban Planning and International Development from New York University, and a BA in Anthropology and Spanish from Arizona State University.
