Marcia works as a Research Associate at IPA Peru. She is currently working in a behavioral design intervention in Uruguay seeking to reduce school absenteeism at the preschool level using text-message nudges, in cooperation with the Inter-American Development Bank and the Ministry of Education of Uruguay. She previously worked at IPA Peru as an Intern and Research Associate on projects related to early childhood development and education in El Salvador and Panama. Marcia holds a BA in Social Sciences majoring in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
