Lisette Anzoategui is a Research Associate for a study examining the impact of introducing a new female condom on usage, attitudes, knowledge and, inter partner communication in Zambia. Before joining IPA in 2015, she worked with USAID Honduras on youth violence prevention, the U.S. Peace Corps as Municipal Development Advisor, the North American Integration and Development Center on immigrant rights issues, and founded an NGO called One Heart Source, and worked as an HIV/AIDs awareness instructor in Tanzania. She holds a BA in Geography and International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a dual MA in Sustainable International Development & Coexistence and Conflict from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
