Research Associate
Ijaz is currently working as a Junior Research Associate at IPA Bangladesh for the "Evaluation of Aquaculture in Bangladesh" project, an in-depth survey of 4,000 aquaculture practicing households in northern Bangladesh. Prior to this project, he worked on an evaluation of the Community Mobilisation Volunteers (CMV) Network on improving the knowledge, attitude, behavior, and practice (KABP) of Rohingya refugees and host communities with Maria Micaela Sviatschi and Daniel T.R. Masterson. Before joining IPA, Ijaz worked for Centre for Family and Population Research at the National University of Singapore. He holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from North South University in Dhaka.
