Ian Kusimakwe is the research associate and contact person for the Small & Medium Enterprise Initiative project based in Kampala, Uganda. Ian has been working with IPA for the last five years on various projects. Prior to joining IPA, Ian worked at the National democratic institute (NDI) based in Kampala Uganda on the Member of parliament accountability study (MPAS) and the Member of parliament surveys preparing for the sms based U SPEAK project. His other work experience includes working as a data manager at the Democracy Monitoring Group (DEMGroup. He is currently pursuing a masters in Economic policy & management and holds a bachelors degree in Agriculture economics from Makerere University.
