Dorothy Sohati is a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Savings for Mothers project at the IPA Zambia Country Office. In her project, Dorothy works on developing an innovative savings product to encourage pregnant women to deliver at health facilities in conjunction with the research team. This involves conducting regular monitoring and evaluation visits to field sites operated by IPA’s implementing partner and providing high-quality, timely and insight feedback to the research team and implementing partner regarding the situation in the field. Dorothy previously worked for World Vision Zambia as a Water and Sanitation Manager, as well as Zambia Red Cross Society and OXFAM GB as a Water and Sanitation Coordinator. She holds a Degree in Development Studies, a Diploma in Water Engineering and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health with the University of Lusaka.
