Dr. Dickson Malunda is the Deputy Country Director at IPA Uganda. He is a Development Economist and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Trento, Italy. His research interests are in poverty, employment, and economic transformation. He has over six years experience as a researcher. Dickson also holds a Masters degree in Development Economics from Wageningen University in the Netherlands and a BSc. Agriculture Economics degree from Makerere University in Uganda. Prior to joining IPA-Uganda, he was employed as a Senior Research Fellow at Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR-Rwanda). He also worked as a Poverty Economist at the World Bank.
