Originally from Zimbabwe, Chivimbiso Maponga completed her undergraduate degree in Statistics at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2005, and is currently completing a Masters of Commerce in Development Finance with the Graduate School of Business at UCT. Before joining IPA, Chivimbiso worked for an independent research company in Cape Town where her work centered on establishing baseline data, evaluating mid-term progress and making recommendations to strengthen implementation, as well as capturing key learnings after a project/programme has been implemented. Previously, Chivimbiso worked with the Central Statistics Agency of Zimbabwe as a Statistician.
