Carine is a Research & Policy Manager at IPA Francophone West Africa, representing IPA in Guinea-Bissau in the development of a scoping exercise in partnership with the UNDP for the creation of Government Embedded Labs. The project focus areas are Financial Inclusion, Socio-Economic Recovery, and Public Statistics. In 2021, Carine worked in IPA Tanzania as a Research Associate managing the implementation of an education impact evaluation project in humanitarian settings. Prior to IPA, she worked in the private sector and on education and healthcare research projects in Angola, Guinea Bissau, and Brazil. Carine holds an MA in Development Economics from the University Nova of Lisbon and a BA in Business Management.
