Ariela Alpert is an Associate with the Small & Medium Enterprise Program, based in New Haven, CT. Prior to joining IPA, Ariela worked for Chemonics International in Washington, DC supporting agriculture and civil society strengthening projects in Uganda. Her previous work experience includes a fellowship in Rwanda where she served as the International Coordinator at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village and taught an entrepreneurship course. She holds a BA in Economics with a Minor in Business from Brandeis University.
