Antony Wainaina works on the Multiple Water Systems Project (MUWS) in Central Kenya. The project encourages adoption of rainwater harvesting tanks through collateralize loans among rural dairy farmers. Prior to joining IPA, he worked with researchers from the University of Quebec at Montreal, Canada in assessing impact of a rural hydro electrification program around communities living in the slopes of Mt Kenya. Antony has also worked with a Japanese NGO which carried out sustainable development projects in the semi arid regions of Eastern Kenya. He holds a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi.
