Sophie is the Associate Policy Manager at IPA Rwanda. She joined the IPA Embedded Lab as a Research and Policy Associate, supporting the strategic goal of promoting evidence-based decision-making with the Rwanda Ministry of Education. She also worked with the Rwanda Basic Education Board to improve the management of teachers based on evidence-based best practices. Previously, she served as a Data Manager in a consulting firm at the Educational Consulting Success (ECOS) Ltd. Sophie holds a Master’s Degree in Data Science from the University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics, African Center of Excellence in Data Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM from the University of Rwanda.
