Andrew Dustan is an applied microeconomist working in development, education, and labor. He applies a variety of empirical tools to study issues related to school choice, educational quality, and interventions motivating parents and public servants to invest in the human capital of children. His most recent work has taken place in Colombia and Mexico. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an M.A. from Miami University and a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
