Charles Mgoya oversees IPA Tanzania’s operations and finance and accounting initiatives. He has a passion for systems development and careful financial and operational management. Prior to joining IPA Tanzania, he worked as the Finance Manager at Mildmay International in Tanzania, Finance Manager and an Interim Country Director for the Room to Read Tanzania office, and as the Regional Manager and Associate Director of Finance and Accounting at Room to Read. In these roles, he oversaw finance and accounting initiatives for the Tanzania, Zambia, and South Africa country offices. Charles is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA(T)) with a Bachelor's in Commerce in Accounting (with honors) and an MBA in Finance both from the University of Dar es Salaam.
