On April 25, 2017, IPA Myanmar Senior Research Associate Areum Han presented at a masterclass on agribusiness research. The masterclass was organized by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and co-facilitated by Helvetas Vietnam, and was attended by Burmese professionals in the agribusiness sector. Ms. Han presented a brief introduction of RCTs and impact evaluation, and provided an overview of IPA’s multiple projects on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Financial Inclusion. The class ended with a discussion on how this research methodology could be adopted in agricultural value chain models.
