On 16th May 2024, IPA Uganda hosted a half-day co-creation workshop with refugee-led organizations (RLOs) to refine a draft policy and practice agenda for Two-Generation programming in refugee settings. The Two-Generation policy and practice agenda was developed through a collaborative process involving interviews and workshops with program implementers and policymakers to discuss the most pressing needs of refugee parents and their youngest children.

The co-creation workshop with RLOs aimed at validating the initial findings and supporting the framing of the policy and practice agenda from a refugee lens. The workshop highlighted the transformative impact of RLOs in advancing the Two-Gen approach, demonstrating innovative strategies in education, healthcare, and advocacy. Feedback from RLOs will be integral to refining the draft agenda, ensuring it is comprehensive and reflective of refugee needs.
