IPA Kenya Hosts Four Workshops on Results of Study on Novartis Access Program

The Novartis Access Program conducted workshops at the county level aimed at sharing the preliminary study results with the county health officials and to engage them in discussions that facilitated the interpretation and contextualization of the study findings. These workshops targeted eight counties of Kenya where the study was conducted i.e. Kakamega, Samburu, Kwale, Nyeri, Embu, Narok, West Pokot, and Makueni, and culminated into the main study results dissemination event to be held in late April.

Times and location of each of the meetings are listed below:

  • Tuesday, 10 & Wednesday, 11 March:  White Rhino Hotel, Nyeri ( Nyeri, Embu, Makueni, and Samburu teams)
  • Thursday, 12 March: Golf Hotel, Kakamega (Kakamega & West Pokot teams)
  • Friday, 13 March: Mara Frontier Hotel (Narok teams) and Pride Inn Hotel (Kwale teams)

Presenters included Zaina KiraguMonica Onyango, and Veronica Wirtz of Boston University's School of Public Health.
