Jakarta, Indonesia

From November 14-17, IPA's Financial Inclusion Program, in collaboration with the University of Indonesia, hosted a workshop for financial service providers on using Human Centered Design methodology to create gender-inclusive products. IPA shared evidence from past studies and surveys to encourage participants to create evidence-based solutions to the pressing challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the country. Participants pitched a variety of prototypes at the end of the workshop, including ideas for graduation-style loans, new apps, and agent banking.
