Sebastian Chaskel provided strategic leadership to the Peace and Recovery program at IPA, coordinated its research network and agenda, and lead the Program's efforts on project development, fundraising, and policy outreach. Before taking on this role in 2017, Sebastian was the founding director of IPA's country office in Colombia and the Dominican Republic, where he managed a portfolio of research projects, led project development, and oversaw financial and administrative operations in both countries. Before joining IPA, he held research and program management positions at the Government Performance Lab at Harvard Kennedy School, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Cerrejón Foundation, and Princeton University's Innovations for Successful Societies. Sebastian has an MPA from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School and a BA in Anthropology and International Relations from Tufts University.
