Wisdom Nai Ako serves as a Research Coordinator for the Ghana Panel Survey (Wave 3), a socio-economic survey designed to provide a scientific framework for a wide range of potential studies. Wisdom’s professional experience spans across public and private sectors at national and international levels. He has served as a Nutrition and Food Security Analyst and a Research and M&E Consultant for the UN World Food Programme and as a Research and M&E Coordinator for Hope for Future Generations, an NGO in Ghana. Wisdom holds an MSc in Specialized Economic Analysis in Health Economics and Policy from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, an MA in Development Economics and International Cooperation from the University of Pavia, and a BA in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Wisdom has a solid research capacity, particularly in the conduct of baseline and market surveys, price trend analysis, impact evaluation, needs assessment and operational research in various sectors, including health, agriculture, food security, gender, livelihood strengthening, and human rights.
