Country Representative, Mexico
Julia Lendorfer is Country Representative of IPA in Mexico and Project Director of a 3-year project to build effective, resilient, and trusted police organizations in Mexico. Before joining IPA, Julia was Director at the Observatorio de Desarrollo Regional y Promoción Social (ODP), where she designed and managed a cognitive behavioral therapy project for urban gang youth. From 2009-2016, Julia was at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. working on conflict, crime, and violence as well as post-conflict reconstruction and disaster risk management. Julia holds an MA in International Relations & International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and an MA in International Development from the University of Vienna.
