Emily Saavedra holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Emily works as a Research Associate at IPA Peru. She is currently focused on a study about intimate partner violence. Previously, she worked as an intern at IPA Peru on a project related to the tolerance of gender roles and domestic violence. Emily also works as a pre-teacher at PUCP. Before joining IPA, she was a research assistant at the Central Bank of Peru (BCRP).
