Bio Info

Jessica is the senior program manager for the Migration and Development Initiative, a portfolio of projects in the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, and South America. She is passionate about supporting refugee and immigrant populations through the lens of city planning and economic development.

Before joining IPL, Jessica worked as an urban migration research consultant with organizations including the International Rescue Committee, where she co-authored “Urban Refuge,” a global study of city policies for the inclusion of displaced populations. She previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, studied economics and international relations at Tufts University, and earned her Master in City Planning degree from MIT.

Jessica’s research has been published by organizations including the International Rescue Committee, Forced Migration Review, and the Global Shelter Cluster.
