Past Events Mar 22 Dissemination Events on the Impact of Food and Cash Loans on Smallholder Farmers in Zambia Mar 17 18th Microcredit Summit: Frontier Innovations in Financial Inclusion Post Teaser Text On March 17th, 2016, three projects funded by the Citi IPA Financial Capability Research Fund were presented on a panel at the 18th Microcredit Summit in Abu Dhabi.Benni Savonitto (Financial Inclusion Program) presented the results from Mobile-izing Savings: Defined-Contribution Savings on a Mobile Money Platform in Afghanistan; Julian Jamison talked about the long-term follow-up survey that was recently conducted for Starting a Lifetime of Saving: Teaching the Practice of Saving to Ugandan Youth; and Marta Carnelli (IPA Colombia) discussed the progress of the Tablet-Based Financial Education project in Colombia. Mar 15 Introduction to Impact Evaluation Workshop Post Teaser Text Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Philippines conducted a one-day workshop on Introduction to Impact Evaluation last Tuesday, 15 March 2016, which was hosted at the OD Corpuz Hall, Development Academy of the Philippines Building, Ortigas Center, Philippines.This was attended by 28 representatives from 11 organizations. Faith-based NGOs attended such as Tuloy Lingap ni Padre Pio, Tulay sa Pag-unlad, Inc., and Capuchin Medical Mission.There were NGOs working in the health sector, namely Physicians for Peace and Wireless Access for Health.Government representatives were present as well from the Department of Health, Philippine Center for Population and Development, and the Senate.
