Verónica Frisancho is the Chief Economist of CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. Before joining CAF, Verónica worked for over a decade as a Lead Economist in the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She has published chapters in books and has both published and refereed for several international peer-reviewed journals. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru.
