Obed leads our policy work in Uganda, collaborating with different policy actors to ensure that IPA’s rigorous research informs policy and practice. Prior to joining IPA, Obed worked for different non-profits based in Uganda, Malawi, and Germany; including World Vision International, the University of Potsdam, Cordaid-Netherlands, Restless Development, and others. Obed has a PhD in Economics and Social Sciences and a Master of Public Management (specializing in Global Public Policy) from the University of Potsdam in Germany as well as a Bachelor of Administrative Sciences from Kyambogo University in Uganda.
