Martin Mattsson is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Yale University. His research focuses on how government institutions shape socio-economic outcomes for people in low- and middle-income countries. He is currently working with IPA in Bangladesh studying several ongoing institutional reforms including the introduction of a court system known as Village Courts and an eGovernance platform for citizen-government communication.
