Laura Burke leads the development and production of creative, strategic content that elevates and advances IPA’s brand, strategy, and mission. Before joining IPA, Laura was a freelance journalist in West Africa, where she reported for the Associated Press, Global Post, RFI, Voice of America, France24 and other news outlets. Before that, she was a contributing writer for The Texas Observer. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi from 2006-2008. Laura holds a B.A. in Languages & Literature from Bard College.
