Professor Hill is currently Professor of Population and International Health, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, and since 1991 the Andelot Professor of Demography at Harvard University. His career has included academic appointments at the University of Aberdeen, Princeton University, the American University of Beirut, the University of Jordan, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the University of Ghana as well as 4 years as the Population Council Representative in the Arab countries.
