Thierno Faye serves as the Country Director of IPA’s Francophone West Africa Country Program. As a country director, Thierno oversees the implementation of activities, while ensuring operational excellence. Thierno has extensive experience in program design, management, monitoring, evaluation and research across a number of donor-funded programs. Fluent in French and English, with a working knowledge of Arabic and other African languages, Thierno has worked in many sub-Saharan countries including Senegal, Niger, Liberia, the DRC, Mali, Benin. Thierno holds a Master’s degree in Sociology. He has experience working in health, nutrition, agriculture, etc. He has also contributed to writing peer review articles and has a passion for research.
