Human Trafficking Research Initiative

Sarah Consoli is the Program Coordinator for IPA’s Human Trafficking Research Initiative, which fosters partnerships between researchers and program implementers to design and carry out rigorous research studies to advance the understanding of what works to reduce human trafficking. Prior to joining IPA, Sarah worked as a Program Manager for 3Strands Global Foundation, a counter-trafficking organization in Northern California, and most recently as an Economist with the Agrifood Economics Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Sarah holds a BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis.
