Edmond Kanu is the Associate Research Manager at the Liberia and Sierra Leone offices of IPA where he supports the implementation of complex randomized control trials and other quantitative and qualitative research projects. Prior to joining IPA, he was a Senior Researcher at the University of Kiel where he consulted on an FAO project on “Resilient and Sustainable Food Systems” in Indonesia and Uganda. He has also managed the grants portfolio of the West African Regional Office of Leonard Cheshire Disability. Edmond holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sierra Leone, an MA in Development Studies from the University of Leeds, and an MSc and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Universities of Hohenheim and Kiel respectively.
