Amaka Nnaji is a development economist currently serving as a Research Scientist for the Financial Inclusion portfolio of IPA's projects in Nigeria. Prior to joining IPA, Amaka lectured at the University of Nigeria Nsukka and Lincoln University, New Zealand. Amaka has completed her doctoral thesis (ABD) in Development Economics from Lincoln University, New Zealand. Her thesis focuses on the impact of equal access to land and farmer-herder conflicts on household food insecurity and production decisions in Nigeria. She obtained an MSc in Agricultural Development Economics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, and a BAgric in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
