Yuri works as an Advisor for the Right-Fit Evidence Unit of IPA. Prior to his work with IPA, he worked with the National Economic and Development Authority of the Philippines, providing policy advice and coordination for social development, specifically social protection, poverty, migration, and the Sustainable Development Goals. He also previously served as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank in using big data analytics for planning and The Asia Foundation for using data to promote public-private partnerships in education. He earned an MS in Economics from Kobe University in Japan and a BA in Public Administration from University of the Philippines Diliman.
