Rut serves as Social Media Manager, leading and executing on IPA's social media strategy. Her previous role was at the Embassy of Indonesia where she spent six years working at the intersection of communications, policy analysis, and research. Her areas of expertise are bilateral trade policy and public diplomacy. She started her career as a journalist where she produced multimedia content on a variety of platforms for organizations such as Voice of America Indonesian Service and The Jakarta Post. Rut is passionate about using data to tell interesting stories about countries and organizations and promoting programs and policies that boost economic growth. She holds a BA in Communications Arts and International Relations with a minor in French from Wartburg College and an MPP from George Mason University.
