Gilbert Loshoock is a Field Manager at the IPA Tanzania office. His central focus has been managing field logistics and field teams. Gilbert has provided support to a large number of projects, including most recently, the Autonomous Learning project—a software-based learning program to improve literacy and numeracy skills for children below grade three. Other projects he has supported at IPA Tanzania include the Preventing Violence against Children (PVAC) project in Nyarugusu Refugee Camp, and the Market Learning and Transport Costs among Fertilizer Retailers in Kilimanjaro and Manyara regions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics in Project Planning and Management from Mzumbe University.
