Carolina works as a Research Coordinator at IPA Peru. She is currently assisting with the final phase of an education intervention in Panama and the launch of two projects in Paraguay and Nicaragua, regarding early STEM, education, and nutrition respectively. She previously worked as a Research Associate at IPA Peru, based in Paraguay, on projects related to social protection for senior citizens and a microfinance product for women, and later as a Senior Research Associate. She also interned at IPA Peru, in Lima and Trujillo, providing support to projects related to SMEs and text-message nudging for educational infrastructure. Carolina holds a BSc in Policy Science and International Development from Leiden University College The Hague in the Netherlands.
