Ellen is the Research Manager for Innovations for Poverty Action's Intimate Partner Violence initiative. She supports the Initiative’s global portfolio and learning goals, including developing applicable ethical research guidance. She manages the implementation of randomized controlled trials, mostly in Bangladesh and Liberia. She also oversees programmatic testing, qualitative surveys, and gender-sensitive research training. Ellen has an MA in International Development Policy with a concentration in Applied Economics from Duke University and a BA from Lake Forest College in Economics and Religion.
