Alonso is an Associate Research Manager at the IPA Mexico office, where he carries out qualitative research for the project "Building Effective, Resilient and Trusted Police Organizations in Mexico". Before joining IPA, Alonso worked as a consultant for both local and international organizations, conducting research and collaborating in process and impact evaluations. He studied Sociology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
