Peter is implementing research for IPA in Tanzania on how to incentivize people to save money using their mobile money accounts. He has a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and has conducted field work in Uganda and Tanzania, including a large-scale randomized controlled trial on the effect of mobile phone ownership on the use of digital financial services and economic well-being.
