Jose Luis Flor Toro is Senior Research Associate at IPA-Peru and Research Manager at EduLab, a joint effort by J-PAL and MINEDU to promote low-cost, high-impact innovations through impact evaluations. He also teaches Stata for research in social sciences, as well as Undergraduate Microeconomics. Jose Luis has worked as TA and RA at his alma mater, and more recently, as Advisor on Regional and Sectoral Studies at the Office of the Minister of Production in Peru. He is interested in development economics, specifically, education, natural disasters, and productive development. Jose Luis holds a BA in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and is a MA candidate in Economics.
