On April 14, Cynthia Bosumtwi-Sam, Acting Executive Secretary of the Ghana Ministry of Education’s National Inspectorate Board, Bridget Konadu Gyamfi, Senior Policy Manager at IPA Ghana, Bethany Park, Senior Policy Manager at IPA, and Sharon Wolf, Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, led a pre-conference workshop at the Comparative & International Education Society (CIES) annual conference in San Francisco. The workshop, titled “Co-creating evidence in education: Fostering cooperation between educators, researchers, and policymakers to create rigorous education research”, provided participants with theoretical frameworks and practical tools for creating rigorous, policy-relevant education research.

The workshop was followed by a series of panels from April 15-18.
