Valentina Farinelli is the Senior Program Associate for IPA’s Human Trafficking Research Initiative. Prior to joining IPA, Valentina gained experience in policy-oriented research and impact evaluation through her work at a variety of research institutions across the US, Sweden, and Italy. Most recently, Valentina worked as a Quantitative Research Assistant for the James Hutton Institute, an interdisciplinary research institute in Scotland that carries out strategic scientific research for the Scottish government. Valentina holds an MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis; an MSc in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics; and a BSc in Economics from the University of Roma Tre.
