IPA began conducting research in the Dominican Republic in 2006. Our work has focused mainly on building evidence in the sectors of Financial Inclusion and Entrepreneurship and Private Sector Development. Studies include evaluating the impact of commitment savings accounts among beneficiaries of ProSoli, a conditional cash transfer program, and investigating whether a financial literacy training can improve the financial status of ProSoli recipients.
